Quirky alt-pop songstress Evee (signed to Siri Music Group/Caroline) partnered with Twist Magazine to premiere the striking new video for her debut single, “Lone Wolf.” In addition to the release, Evee, who’s personality is often playful and free-spirited, offered Twist readers advice on how to remain comfortable being different in areas of life that demand compromise. Despite her experience as a classically-trained opera singer, modeled and theater actress, “I’ve always thought it was best to be as true to yourself as possible,” Evee candidly told Twist readers. “It’s definitely a work in progress lol and it doesn’t always come easy but I’ve learned to have fun in the process! I’ll have to admit, accepting me for me didn’t happen overnight.”
However, virtually overnight, Evee has created a buzz surrounding her new single, which has gathered nearly 200,000 streams since its release.
“Lone Wolf is in a way, my personal theme song,” says the New York based singer-songwriter. “It’s the first song we [Cazz and JacksonCroft] wrote in studio together and identify with so strongly. The song came about really through the imagery the production gave me. I just kept picturing myself running through the woods at twilight.”
