ELVIS ANDRUS AND STEVE BUECHELE TO ATTEND MIRACLE LEAGUE OF SOUTHLAKE
UNIFORM UNVEILING ON TUESDAY AT HILTON DALLAS/SOUTHLAKE TOWN SQUARE
Arlington, Texas – Texas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus and former third baseman and current bench coach Steve Buechele will attend an event an event for the Miracle League of Southlake, TOMORROW, TUESDAY, APRIL 28 at the Hilton Dallas/Southlake Town Square, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Andrus and Buechele will participate in the unveiling of the Miracle League of Southlake’s Rangers uniforms for the 2015 season. The Miracle League players will be sporting Ranger Red, White and Blue uniforms this season. In addition, the Miracle League of Southake will be unveiling its new mascot “Stitch.”
Officials from the Texas Rangers Foundation and the Miracle League of Southlake as well as youngsters participating in the program, will also be a part of Tuesday’s event.
The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation made a $100,000 donation towards the building of the new Miracle League field in Southlake in 2013. The Texas Rangers Miracle League Field in Southlake, which opens this summer, will be the fourth facility for the Miracle League of DFW, joining Arlington, Frisco, and Irving. Miracle League of DFW is working to bring joy to communities that one day every child will have the opportunity to play ball across DFW.
The construction of the Texas Rangers Miracle League Field is part of a series of improvements scheduled for Bicentennial Park, which is Southlake’s premiere park facility.
