WHAT: Elmo and Cookie Monster from Sesame Street Live and Sports Illustrated model Damaris Lewis will visit children from Garden of Dreams partner organization, Jackson Family Center, to teach the importance of making new friends by constructing Valentine’s Day cards in celebration of Sesame Street Live “Make a New Friend,” coming to the Theater at Madison Square Garden February 19 – March 1. The Garden of Dreams Foundation works closely with The Madison Square Garden Company to bring the magic of MSG – including the Knicks, Rangers, Liberty, MSG Entertainment, and MSG Networks – to children facing obstacles. Interviews and photo opps will be available.
In Sesame Street Live “Make a New Friend,” Chamki is from far away and she’s visiting Sesame Street for just one day! Grover has a long to-do list for his friend, from kayaking to hot yoga, but Chamki is busy enjoying cookies with Cookie Monster, singing with Abby Cadabby and doing ‘The Elmo Slide.’ Will an appearance from Super Grover get Chamki’s attention?
