The Musebox today announced that music blog Surviving the Golden Age has exclusively premiered the eclectic New Lion Moon mixtape from elegant electro-pop artist Beca, just in time for tonights new moon. Beca has been praised by Stereogum for her wispy, ethereal electro-pop. Beca has made appearances at CMJ, SXSW, Miami Fashion Week, and NXNE in support of Sleigh Bells. Her song Enabler was a finalist in the Dance/Electronica category in the 2014 International Songwriting Competition (ISC), with more than 18K entries from 118 countries. Besides Filter and Stereogum, Beca has also been featured in Under The Radar, Spinner, Consequence Of Sound, Lucky, Société Perrier, Discobelle and Clash Magazine. More information on Beca is available on her official website.
Becas recent intriguing video for her single Bayonet was a collaboration between Beca, her sister director/editor Zoe Schack, and creative director/VFX designer Erica Jaffin from New York City-based Edit 1. It was the first release from Becas forthcoming debut full-length, Ecliptic (to be released this fall).
Beca graduated from the Juilliard School and traveled the world, performing with an array of artists while developing her own sound and voice. Bursting onto the indie pop scene in 2012, Becas first two EPs, Lets Run Wild and Born To Fly, were released via UK label This Is Music Ltd. (Charli XCX, Little Boots). Included on the EPs are a number of remixes by notable names, including Ashley Beedle, Klic, and Madeaux.
Ecliptic, Becas debut LP that was co-produced by Morgan Wiley of Midnight Magic, integrates purely romantic songs with those that celebrate the freedom to rise above difficult situations. Fans will be able to hear songs from Ecliptic when Beca performs two big shows towards the end of summer:

- Los Globos, Los Angeles – Wednesday, Sept. 16th – Doors at 7pm
