As its evolution continues, ELECTRIC ZOO: TRANSFORMED–touted as a “summer 2015 must see music festival” by Rolling Stone—has launched its ‘Follow Me To New York’ campaign with the announcement of headliners ALESSO, THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS and ABOVE & BEYOND. Over the next two weeks, music fans should follow www.followmetonewyork.com as the first phase of artists appear at the three-day music festival–taking place September 4, 5 & 6 over Labor Day weekend at Randall’s Island Park in New York City–will be revealed.
Fans can already find ELECTRIC ZOO: TRANSFORMED’s headliners–with their New York City landmarks on the map–posted on the special site. Alesso, represented by the Empire State Building, is one of electronic music’s top artists. Following his platinum selling “Heroes,” featuring Tove Lo, the Swedish producer is back on the charts with his new single “Cool,” featuring Roy English, off his forthcoming debut album Forever set for release May 26 on Def Jam. The Chemical Brothers (marked by the Flatiron Building) visit ELECTRIC ZOO: TRANSFORMED in celebration of their first album in five years, Born In the Echoes. Fans will experience their brand new festival production in this, their only 2015 play in NYC. The Statue Of Liberty represents Above & Beyond who are back in the Big Apple for the first since their massive sold-out headlining show at Madison Square Garden last year.
Starting today (May 1) with these three headliners, ELECTRIC ZOO: TRANSFORMED will be rolling out two-to-three artists per day forward until festival organizers proceed with the release of the full lineup in mid-May. Keep up with the artists who are coming to ELECTRIC ZOO and their unique NYC landmark at www.followmetonewyork.com and #FollowMeToNewYork.
