EAGLE ROCK ENTERTAINMENT AND 700g FILMS ANNOUNCE THE WORLDWIDE RELEASE OF
ENRIQUE BUNBURY
El Camino Más Largo (The Longest Road)
~DVD and Digital Video Release March 25, 2016~
New York, NY (February 8, 2016)—One of the most important Spanish rock music artists, singer-songwriter Enrique Bunbury is an international icon. This Spring, Eagle Rock Entertainment and 700g Films will release the concert/documentary film El Camino Más Largo (The Longest Road) – chronicling Bunbury’s career-defining 2010 tour – on DVD and Digital video on March 25, 2016 [DVD MSRP $14.98].
An unprecedented look behind-the-scenes at a world-renowned legend, El Camino Más Largo (The Longest Road), directed by Spanish director Alexis Morante, takes a deep look at an artist’s journey in a new unconquered territory.
Originally the leader of legendary band Héroes del Silencio, which enjoyed resounding success throughout Latin America, the US, and in much of Europe, Bunbury initiated a meteoric rise when he embarked on his solo career in 1996, releasing 9 studio albums.
The tour kicked off on November 11, 2010, when Enrique Bunbury became the first Spanish artist to gather more than 90,000 fans in a single show at El Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. Six months later, he embarked on a tour through the US — a trek that proved to have a powerful effect on Bunbury. With his wife and his cat in tow, Bunbury performed in areas through North America never yet tackled by Spanish artists.
What began as an effort to conquer a new market caused him to journey deeper within his soul, as revealed by the personal anecdotes in the film. El Camino Más Largo (The Longest Road) combines live performance footage of many of his hits, interviews with Bunbury and his band members, and intimate moments captured on the road.
As a bonus, the film includes Behind-the-scenes, Official Trailer, Making-of soundtrack, deleted scenes, and never-before-seen images of what happens before and after Bunbury takes the stage; as well as a sneak peek into the movie’s premiere at the renowned Barcelona InEdit Festival Premiere.
With the late 2015 release of his MTV Unplugged album El Libro de La Mutaciones, and his recently announced 2016 tour, it’s the perfect time for American music fans to really get to know Enrique Bunbury. Let El Camino Más Largo (The Longest Road) be your introduction.
