JACOB MOODY RETURNS FROM BILLINGS
DAYTON, OHIO—The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster changes today:
Right-handed pitcher Mark Armstrong has been placed on the disabled list with a right elbow strain.
Left-handed pitcher Jacob Moody has been promoted to Dayton from Billings (Pioneer League).
The Dragons roster remains at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.
A new roster is attached.
Armstrong was removed from his start after three innings on Sunday in Fort Wayne, his second start since returning from the disabled list after missing four weeks with an elbow strain. Armstrong is 3-3 with a 3.20 earned run average in 13 games (12 starts) with the Dragons this season.
Moody has appeared in one game with the Dragons in 2015, tossing two scoreless innings.
The Dragons open a two-game set in Bowling Green, Kentucky tonight at 8:05 p.m. EDT against the Bowling Green Hot Rods (Tampa Bay Rays affiliate). They return home Wednesday to host Bowling Green at 7:00 p.m.
