Diamante Eléctrico shares new single “Dias Raros” featuring Billy Gibbons.
Diamante Eléctrico is Juan Galeano (Lead Vocals + Bass), Daniel Álvarez (Guitar), and Andee Zeta (Drums), three musicians from Colombia who Bob Lefsetz once described as “a cross between Green Day and Muse, with a bit of Zeppelin thrown in.” Since their beginning in 2013, they have risen to become one of the most important bands in Colombia’s independent music scene.
The band recently received two Latin Grammy nominations, with La Gran Oscilación for Best Rock Album and “Déjala Rodar” for Best Rock Song.
Colombia’s Latin Grammy Winning Rock Band Diamante Eléctrico appeared at the 2017 edition of Coachella, with LA Weekly urging audiences not to miss them, Billboard calling them a festival must-see, and Magnetic Magazine claiming their appearance at the festival “sets the stage for worldwide recognition.”
The band also released a video for “El Vacio” (‘The Void’) earlier this year, filmed via drone in various parts of the world, showing heavy contrasts between urban and rural spaces and how they’re occupied.
Having shared stages with The Rolling Stones and The Foo Fighters, playing Coachella proved to be a logical next step for the band, and you’d better believe that there are some impressive strides coming in the near future.
Catch them live in a city near you!
