(New York- July 22, 2016) Nashville-based indie pop/rock band Colony House today releases their brand new single “You & I” from their forthcoming sophomore album entitled ONLY THE LONELY, set for release on Descendant Records/RCA Records on September 16th. The song premiered on Billboard.com yesterday.

Colony House recently revealed the first track and video from the album entitled “You Know It” to announce their album, which premiered on Consequence of Sound who described their sound as “twangy surf pop.” Click Here to check it out. The video was co-directed by lead singer/guitarist/ songwriter Caleb Chapman and Ry Cox. “You Know It” is currently getting play on Sirius XM’s Alt Nation and since its reveal, has over 350k streams on Spotify. Baeble writes of “You Know It”- “Calling a song a “summer jam” is cliché but when I listened to “You Know It” from Tennessee-based indie rock band Colony House, I seriously asked myself, “Could this be the song of the summer?” It’s a carefree track with guitars flailing everywhere. A bit reminiscent of Vampire Weekend, there are a ton of retro, beachy moments.”
ONLY THE LONELY is the follow up to Colony House’s debut album When I Was Younger which featured their single “Silhouettes,” which has enjoyed over 8 million streams on Spotify and was the #1 most played track on Sirius XM’s Alt Nation for four months straight. The band has previously performed on CONAN, Late Night with Seth Meyers and VH1 “Big Morning Buzz,” and has been featured by NPR Music, Wall Street Journal, People Magazine, and Noisey, among many others.
