After releasing his album Your Discretion Is Trust earlier this year, Cities Aviv (aka Gavin Mays) is back this week with a takeover of yours truly. With the feature, yours truly takes a deeper look into the artist in his hometown of Memphis with a short documentary, original photos, a written interview, and a special mix of rare Memphis Soul music prepared by Soul experts Pressure World. Later this week, an original Cities Aviv song from the Your Discretion Is Trust sessions and the first ever interview with Pressure World will be added to the feature. The yours truly interview and short documentary also features frequent Cities Aviv collaborator and artist RPLD GHSTS speaking on art for the first time alongside Mays.
Cities Aviv is also announcing that he will be heading out on his first ever European Tour this October, including a stop at London’s Birthdays and L’International in Paris. Your Discretion Is Trust is now available on all digital platforms in collaboration with Brooklyn-based label Collect Records.
