The headliner for this riveting production, Nik Wallenda, has conquered Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon and the skyscrapers of Chicago. Here, in his hometown of Sarasota, crowds be will awestruck too. This time he and his troupe attempt the iconic Wallenda family trademark, the Seven-Person Pyramid. As an added touch of excitement the pyramid will include three former students from America’s most beloved youth circus, the Sailor Circus Academy! These amazing alumni have gone from performing in The Greatest “Little” Show on Earth to being hand-picked, by Nik himself, to train for the act and make their professional debut performance. This perilous feat demands impeccably accurate timing, tempo and trust. It is the masterpiece of multi-person highwire stunts and inspires an air of anticipation and exhilaration so palpable, the entire Big Top will be buzzing!

Other amazing acts include talented artists from around the globe and many who are making their American debut, like Duo Shcherbak from Ukraine. This extraordinary hand-balancing team charmed the crowds and took home the top prize, the Gold Clown, at the 2013 Monte Carlo Circus Festival. Trio Stoian hits the ring with astounding Russian Barre acrobatics, including the unheard of triple somersault and the energy doesn’t stop there! There will be lightning-speed juggling from Gamal David Garcia, a plate spinning extravaganza from David Burlet, plenty of hilarious antics from the nation’s smartest swine, The Pork Chop Review and much, much more. There will be divine dressage from Sergei Byakin and his enormous Clydesdale, whirling wonderment from hula hoop extraordinaire, Anton Monastyrsky and The Remarkable Renaldo will ignite the laughter with his zany clowning. Of course, no Circus Sarasota Winter Production would be complete without a special aerial act from world-famous aerialist and undisputed “Queen of the Air,” Dolly Jacobs and her talented partner, Rafael Palacios. Together they soar high overhead to perform an aerial pas de deux.”We are excited to be in this popular, new location,” said Pedro Reis, Co-Founder of The Circus Arts Conservatory. “In addition to a magnificent production of incredible, international circus artists, we are also introducing brand-new and more comfortable custom seating, from Italy. This is a premium circus experience and we are delighted to present it to our audiences.”
