Christopher Tin returns to Carnegie Hall on April 13, 2014 to perform Calling All Dawns and the world premiere of his new song cycle ‘The Drop That Contained the Sea’

Hello friends,

I’m very excited to announce that tickets are now available for my big concert at Carnegie Hall on April 13, 2014.  It’ll be an all-Christopher Tin program: the first half will be a performance of Calling All Dawns, and the second half will be the world premiere of my new song cycle ‘The Drop That Contained the Sea’.

Both works will be performed by full orchestra and a massive 200-voice choir made up of singers from around the world who have come specially to New York to participate in this concert.  I’ll be doing a meet and greet as well.  AND, there’s a chance that the new album, ‘The Drop That Contained the Sea’ will be available for pre-order at the concert!

On the topic of the new album, I’m almost done recording it, and will start mixing in March.  I anticipate that it will be finished and available sometime between April and June.  I’m REALLY excited about it.  I think fans of Calling All Dawns will not be disappointed.
