Each tour will take visitors through the colorful history of Sarasota combining interesting anecdotes and information about the world renown architects, neighborhoods, and significant developers who created Sarasota’s architectural legacy.
“We are delighted to be able to offer these popular tours, said Tammy Hauser, CFAS Executive Director. “Our past tours have sold out immediately so we thought it was time to offer them more regularly to meet demand,” she added.
Tour size is limited to 30 people and the cost is $35 for CFAS Members and $45 for nonmembers. The tours begin and end at CFAS, 265 South Orange Ave. allowing attendees time to visit the free exhibits in the CFAS gallery before or after the tour. Parking is free. Our current exhibit on display through April 14, 2018 is Brooks & Scarpa’s ORDINARY AND EXTRAORDINARY: The Architecture of Heightened Awareness, an interactive exploration of the design process and a culmination of twenty-five years of work.
