Chenoweth reveals she first started feeling the effects after being in New York City during the events of September 11, 2001 and discusses how she will now work to raise awareness about the condition
Ten years ago, around the time after 9/11, I began to suffer with not being able to get my breath, explains the singer. After visiting a doctor in her hometown in Oklahoma, she was diagnosed with the disorder and prescribed a rescue inhaler. I didnt know that 25 million Americans had it, said Chenoweth, who went public in 2007 about being diagnosed with Ménière’s disease, an inner-ear disorder that can cause vertigo, headaches and nausea, among other symptoms. .
