Sarasota, Fla. – (August 31, 2015) – Cat Depot reported this morning that its beloved and popular mascot, Petunia, is missing. Petunia has been traveling throughout several counties for the 2015 Giving Challenge spreading awareness about homeless, abandoned and injured cats and kittens. She was last seen at JDub’s Brewing Company, Sarasota, at a Cat Depot event on Sunday, August 30, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. Anyone with information on Petunia, or if they have seen her, please call Cat Depot immediately at (941) 366-2404.
“Petunia has an important role in sharing Cat Depot’s message in our community,” said Lynn Rasys, Director of Communications and Development. “And, in particular she has been an icon campaigning for the 2015 Giving Challenge. We hope that she will be found by tomorrow before the Giving Challenge begins at noon.”
