Calling All Kid Crafters and Cookie Makers to Christmas on Bridge Street Event
Bridge Street in Bradenton Beach, Anna Maria Island will be changed from its normal tropical paradise into a Winter Wonderland on Saturday, December 13, 4:00pm-8:00pm. Snow, a visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus, live holiday music, special sales at the shops, holiday treats including a hot chocolate bar, gift basket and wreath giveaways and a lighted boat parade are all planned to make the season merry and bright.
One popular element of the Christmas on Bridge Street event is a Children’s Craft and Cookie Bazaar where area school children make and sell handmade holiday items, Christmas crafts, gifts and yummy baked goods. The kids pay a nominal fee based on their grade level but get to keep all the money they make.
It is a great opportunity for kids to see free enterprise at work and to make a little extra money for the holidays.
