Call for Artists for 2015 Sarasota Craft Show
The 2015 Sarasota Craft Show, December 4-6, will feature works from more than 100 exceptional artists and artisans from around the nation.
(Sarasota, FL) Limited space remains for area artists to reach thousands of shoppers and collectors at the prestigious Sarasota Craft Show, December 4-6, 2015, at Robarts Arena, 3000 Ringling Boulevard in Sarasota. Booths are available for all categories of fine art, including painting, photography, sculpture, graphics, glass, wood, ceramics, furniture and fiber art.
Richard Rothbard, president of American Art Marketing, the company that manages this and several other top crafts show around the country, says that festival coordinators hand-select the nation’s top artists, emphasizing technical skill, quality of workmanship, and originality of design. According to Rothbard, the Sarasota-Manatee region is home to a wealth of first-rate artists and artisans.
“We’re very impressed with the depth and scope of the area arts community,” says Rothbard. “More regional artists are participating—and we invite others to contact us about booth opportunities. Space is limited but if they get to us soon, we’ll do our best to make room.”
Rothbard adds that last year’s show attracted nearly 5,000 people who each paid a $10 admission fee. “Our show draws a discriminating and educated audience. These are serious collectors and arts enthusiasts who have a passion for exceptional art and design. They understand that this is one of the nation’s most sophisticated fine art and crafts shows and expect the best. We seek only those artists who can create the best.”
