BRAZZERS ANNOUNCES SUPER BOWL HALFTIME SHOW TO COMPETE AGAINST COLDPLAY
Premium adult entertainment provider will unveil ZZ Halftime during Coldplay’s live show
BURBANK, CA. February 3, 2016 – BRAZZERS is undertaking the most ambitious, free, live streamed halftime show that has ever been attempted during the Super Bowl by an adult content company since 2005. It has been little over a decade since Girls Gone Wild launched its own halftime games in 2005. This year, responding directly to the disappointment of Super Bowl fans, due to the underwhelming announcement that Coldplay will be performing during the halftime show, BRAZZERS announced that it will be live streaming a high-octane Super Bowl themed show of its own for free when Coldplay takes the stage. The live show is entitled ZZ Halftime.
The ZZ Halftime show will last the same duration as Coldplay’s set, streaming live and uninterrupted for approximately 45 minutes. The live show will also feature four female pornstars, mirroring the amount of members in the band’s lineup. The theme of the live feed will not revolve around the band however. Rather, ZZ Halftime will focus on the true reason fans are tuning in: Super Bowl themed adult content.
This is BRAZZERS’ first live streamed performance of 2016 and marks an important moment in Super Bowl history. Since the pay-per-view Girls Gone Wild Halftime Games of 2005, never before has a major adult entertainment brand made the decision to compete against the appointed headlining acts of the NFL Super Bowl Halftime Show with a paywall-free live show.
BRAZZERS product director, Mario Nardstein, explains that “the ZZ Halftime show is a fan-based initiative to thank both NFL and loyal BRAZZERS fans with free content during the Super Bowl. So, if you can’t score with Coldplay, at least you can score with BRAZZERS.”
Audiences will be able to tune into the ZZ Halftime show on February 7th at approximately 8 PM Eastern/5 PM Pacific, the same time Coldplay hits the stage. Audiences are also warned that they should be prepared to watch more than just sparks fly. Announcements of the stars performing will be taking place this week for users following the Twitter hashtag, #ZZHalftime and the official Brazzers Twitter account, @Brazzers.
