The world premiere of BLONDIE’S NEW YORK, a one-hour documentary that explores the rise of the iconic band, will air tonight March 21st on the Smithsonian Channel at 10pm ET/PT. Narrated by Kim Cattrall, it shows the real story behind Blondie’s breakout success in 1978 as well as the definitive account of the making of Blondie’s Parallel Lines.
On Monday March 24th, catch Blondie at SXSW when Rachael Ray shares some exclusive footage of the band’s appearance at her famed SXSW Feedback Party from Stubb’s in Austin, TX. Check your local ABC listings.
Blondie, who are currently celebrating their 40th Anniversary Year, will release a special two-disc anniversary package later this Spring.
