BEARTOOTH ANNOUNCE NORTH AMERICAN HEADLINE FALL TOUR

July 11, 2016 – Columbus, OH hardcore band Beartooth has announced a North American headlining fall tour. “The Aggressive Tour” presented by The Noise kicks off October 2 in Chicago, IL and ends with a hometown show at Express Live! To celebrate the tour, Beartooth has released the video for “Hated”. “Hated” is the new single off Aggressive (Red Bull Records), which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Chart and No. 3 on the Billboard Rock Chart last month. Front man Caleb Shomo wrote, performed and produced the album’s 12 tracks, which have as much in common with stomping metalcore as old-school punk, combining circle pit-inducing bangers with soaring choruses and bridging raw authentic intensity with accessibility.
Early praise for the album has been effusive: Alternative Press called it “a compelling statement for the validity of heavy rock music in 2016,” and Kerrang declared “This is a record positively fueled by aggression, bolstered by its sense of injustice and raised high on an instinctual need to prove its heavyweight pedigree. The sound of a band showing their strength.”
In the two short years since their debut was cooked up in Shomo’s basement, Beartooth has catapulted into heavy music’s stratosphere. They have collected over 25 million views on YouTube, trekked around the globe sharing the stage with Slipknot, Pierce The Veil, Bring Me The Horizon and Sleeping With Sirens and playing festivals like Reading & Leeds, Download and The Vans Warped Tour. They’ve earned multiple Alternative Press and Kerrang! award nominations, won a Metal Hammer award for Breakthrough Band and been named a “New Artist You Need To Know” by Rolling Stone. They will be performing at the 2016 Alternative Press Music Awards on July 18 where they are nominated for three awards, and later this year they will embark of tours of Australia, Japan, Europe and the UK.
