WHAT: Five furry finalists – Shakespeare, Griffin, Blue, Casper and Barry Maanilow – will audition for the role of a lifetime:  the “dreamiest dog” in the Baltimore Symphony’s upcoming production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream: In Concert. The winner will be announced after a grueling eight-minute audition process in which they will be asked to roll over, bark and shake paws. The winning canine thespian will be a major player and comedic highlight in this imaginative reinterpretation of this classic Shakespearean comedy.  The dog will be the pal of one of the main clowns and appear as the best friend of the mythical Man in the Moon!
