October 24, 2025 // Toronto, ON —Afie Jurvanen (aka Bahamas) has today released his seventh full-length album, My Second Last Album. The album contains the soulful new single “Feels So Good”, an uplifting gem with a lithe groove framed by bass, piano, and finger-snap drums, all built with a brilliant amount of negative space. “Feels So Good”  follows lead track “The Bridge” – co-written by M.C.Taylor of Hiss Golden Messenger – an infectious country-funk tune which closes the gap between Little Feat and Canned Heat.

Recorded at DreamDate, the compact studio built by friend and collaborator Joshua Van Tassel, My Second Last Album was shaped almost entirely by the two musicians, who played every instrument and allowed themselves the freedom to follow Jurvanen’s songs wherever they lead. The result of the easy-going recording process is an album filled with a unique warmth and charm while encapsulating the signature style Bahamas fans have come to love. Exclaim Magazine calls it “quintessential Bahamas…(that) feels a bit like a career overview in album form, even including some nimble six-string moments that nod to Jurvanen’s pre-Bahamas roots as a guitar hero for hire.”

Bahamas has long been celebrated for his singular guitar work, wry lyricism, and magnetic live presence. His previous releases have earned five JUNO Awards, a Grammy and CCMA nomination, several Gold and Platinum Awards, and more than a billion streams across platforms, with songs like “Lost in the Light” and “All the Time” becoming modern staples. With My Second Last Album, Jurvanen continues to expand that legacy, embracing new sounds while grounding his work in authenticity and joy.
