ENOUGH

New York, NY (December 1, 2015)- We hear many voices in music, and many songs about love, heartbreak, partying, tragedy, and all things in-between… but how often do you hear songs about the female experience? About the life of a wife, mother, sister, or friend?
The Mrs. – the band that initiated a powerful movement with their empowering video “Magic Mirror” (view here: https://youtu.be/kuoBEJ9DkJM) – have released their new EP Enough (JL Entertainment). Produced by Rob Arbittier and drummer / founding member Andra Liemandt, this next chapter in The Mrs.’ story will be released on CD on January 29, 2016.
The band (Liemandt, guitarist/vocalist Mandy Prater, guitarist/vocalist Jennifer Zavaleta, bassist Jenny Mason, and keyboardist/vocalist Larissa Ness) kicked off this journey with the release of the “Magic Mirror” video in 2014. Recognizing that women tend to look in the mirror and not see their true beauty, The Mrs. sought to silence the negative “inner voices” that women struggle with, and that message landed them 5 million unique views, along with appearances on Good Morning America and The Queen Latifah Show. This also resulted in two hit singles: “Enough” and “You Told Me,” ranking among the Top 30 Billboard Adult Contemporary Radio chart, alongside acts such as Madonna, Maroon 5, Meghan Trainor, Fall Out Boy, and Imagine Dragons.
Continuing to drive home the message of female self-acceptance, the title track “Enough” challenges the negative thoughts that women (and society) drive home:

I’m Enough / No More Telling Me Who I Need To Be”
This six-song collection of catchy melodies and smooth, rich vocal harmonization evokes a range of emotions and stylistic flavors, from the proud stomp of “The Mrs,” to the rocking “Retail Therapy” (co-written by The Go-Gos’ Kathy Valentine), to the laid-back groove of “Between The Sheets.” The album touches upon sentiments that most pop / rock songs don’t delve into – the balance of career, marriage, and family in modern life, personal relationships, and the almighty undertaking of motherhood. The magic behind The Mrs. is their ability to highlight the true life, down-to-earth experiences that NO ONE ELSE is singing about, but the average woman is living with every day.
The Mrs. continue to spread their positive vibes with the release of Enough, available now via iTunes. A bonus track “Between The Sheets” will be included on the January 29 CD (Baker & Taylor).
