Atomic returns for Season 14 the weekend of 12/14 & 12/15 at the
SRQ Municipal Auditorium, Bay Front Room and Street Fair.
However, in the meantime, here are just a few of the Atomic
Misfit Makers who champion the spirit of Halloween all year long!
Robin Bloom has been a part of Atomic one way or another for 14 years! Robinina will be found in the Atomic Main room on 12/14 & 12/15.
To celebrate the Halloween spirit she is offering a spooky sale on her enamel pins to the right of this post at $10 each or 3 pins for $25.
CLICK HERE TO CONTACT ROBIN or you can show her this post on your cell phone at the Spooky Empire show 10/31 – 11/3.
Suzy Kalin calls this cutie her “Skeletroll,” made from a vintage Russ troll doll. Skeletroll has had a complete makeover, cleaned, airbrushed and hand painted on both sides. Her original hair has been replaced with real Tibetan Lambs wool wig and a handmade spider bow. Talk about an upcycle! Suzy will be bringing her family of trolls to this year’s Atomic show appearing in the Bay Front room on 12/14 & 12/15.
If you can’t wait for Atomic, email Suzy to purchase Skeletroll. She is $50 + shipping+free for pick up if you live in the Sarasota area. These are originals and no two are exactly alike.
Michael Bauman’s artist statement is “Colliding the past, present and future with the natural world. Alchemy bound in copper.”
Electrarelics saves skulls from turning to dust and only uses chicken and quail skulls from birds that have been digested by humans. You will find Electrarelic in the Main Room the entire Atomic weekend.
Mandy Palumbo hails from Youngstown, OH, I grew up in the Y-Town area, I feel like we are kismet geo-sisters. “Illustrator of Things Dark” she may be but her creations don’t scare me and they shouldn’t scare you either. Halloween is her special sauce year round.
Mandy is working the the Atomic show in the Main room on 12/14 & 12/15.
Happy Halloween compliments the Atomic Misfit Makers. To see everyone’s spooky visual treats, visit the Atomic Flickr Halloween 2019 Showcase HERE.
