Asolo Rep to Host Auditions for Multicultural Children’s Roles
in Upcoming Production of South Pacific
WHAT:
Asolo Repertory Theatre will host auditions for four children to share two key multicultural children’s roles in its upcoming production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific.
Roles available for children in South Pacific –
Seeking four children (2 boys, 2 girls) to alternate in the roles.
All children auditioning should be between the ages of 7 and 12.
[NGANA] – Sweet and youthful, an innocent girl. Asian-American, Pacific Islander, Latina, or Native American.
[JEROME] – Playful and energetic boy. Asian-American, Pacific Islander, Latino, or Native American.
Rehearsals begin mid-October and the show runs November 11 – December 28, 2014.

HOW:
To make an appointment, please send an email to [email protected] with the preferred audition time, your name, name of the child/children auditioning and a contact phone number. You will receive confirmation of your child’s appointment via email.
Please bring 1 copy of picture and résumé (if they have one), glued or stapled together. Please bring sheet music for the accompanist (auditioning children need only sing 16 bars of their chosen song).
