I want to open by making sure you are aware that the Fort Myers Founding Females portrait exhibition opening reception takes place at 2-4 p.m. tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon in the Caretaker’s Cottage at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates. The artists will be on hand to talk about their process and the Founding Female(s) they chose to render. I will be giving a Gallery Talk at 3 p.m. The show sheds light on the important contributions made to Fort Myers’ early development by numerous women whose stories have gone largely untold until now. The show will remain on view at Edison Ford through March, which is National Women’s History Month. I hope you can join us there.
