Los Angeles,CA based Alternative/Rock artists AL1CE release their new song For Dead.
For Dead was written by AL1CE while they sequestered themselves in the desert of Joshua Tree, CA at the beginning of the year. After experiencing various forms of loss within the band and having to face mortality, they found themselves drawn to the concepts of death, the tree of life, freedom, and the different shackles of enslavement that we as humans can experience in its various forms during a lifetime. After spending a week in the desert AL1CE had put together the base for their new album As Above So Below,, which For Dead is the first single off the album. As Above So Below will be released later this year. The artwork for the song was created by Brittany Bindrim of the band I:Scintilla, which captures yin-yang quality of the upcoming album. You can listen to For Dead below..

About AL1CE
AL1CE is a multimedia performing arts rock group that fuses dance, surrealist art, video, world music, electronica and rock into a veritable broth of sound and vision. AL1CE musical influences include an expanse of different genres that include darkwave, electronica, industrial, and heavy rock, as well as progressive and psychedelic music from past and present. The group has traveled the world as part of The Alice Project collective, taking part in music exchange programs in Algeria and Uzbekistan through the US State Department as cultural envoys. After two beautiful years of touring and sharing their music and art in different mediums, they are now embarking on their 3rd album that they will be releasing in dual-song installments in 2020.
AL1CE enjoys bringing together various art and performance communities and have performed as one of the featured musical acts for Anime Expo since 2015, which has an attendance of over 100,000 anime fans every year. AL1CE has also been a part of the Labyrinth Masquerade Ball in Los Angeles, the largest masquerade ball in North America, furthering their love for creating immersive events for all the senses.
Throughout the years they have experienced and been touched by snapshots of the lives of people in this country from coast to coast, big cities, small cities, DIY garage spaces, small local bars, theaters with history specific to that town, and clubs that are unique and colorful that can’t be found in any other place besides the cities that they reside in. All of these stories have been brewing and building in the minds and souls of AL1CE as they have traveled and interacted with so many phenomenal people!
Putting out an album is a multi-tiered process that includes writing, recording, artwork, and all the art that can surround a release, like music videos and actual physical products that people can own. AL1CE is so grateful for the continued support of their wonderful family, friends, and supporters, who have made this journey possible |
