5th World Bass Festival in Wroclaw, Poland

The festival, Irena Olkiewicz, director, takes place August 16th-21st, 2014 with concerts, a competition, master classes, lectures, double bass orchestra and exhibition, friends and fun! The Polish Society of Double Bassists is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Presenters include Klaus Trumpf’s Bassiona Amorosa, Adam Bogacki, Michael Cameron, Adam Cegielski, Kazimierz Cyna, Jeffry Eckels, Grzegorz Frankowski, Jelenia Gora, Boguslaw Furtok, Miloslav Gajdos, Andrzej Jekielek, Miloslav Jelinek, Eric Hansen, Kristin Korb, David Murray, Burak Karaagac,  Irena Olkiewicz, Robert Piekos, Gerard Przybyla, John Schimek,Waldemar Tamowski, Marcin Wilinski,and Czeslaw Zabek.
