The Art of Pen and Ink:
Illustration and Landscape

Students will learn to master the art of fluid painting and drawing with pen and ink and a variety of media through the language of line, form, texture, value and art principles.
There will be demonstrations and group critiques in each class.

Dynamic Portrait and Figure

This class is for all levels. Students learn the ins and outs of portrait and figure painting. Students will learn how to draw the face and figure, learn about color mixing, and painting composition. Working from photographs and live models students will start with drawing and transition to color as the class progresses. This class uses live models at times. Model fee extra.

In this class, students will learn how to tap into endless resources so they never have to fear that blank canvas again! Explore ways to combine acrylics, watercolors, collage materials, colored pencils, inks, gesso, crayons, graphite, chalk powders and/or pastels, mediums & gels to create exciting abstracts.
