Sarasota Hand Balancer Moves Closer To Winning One Million Dollars!
SARASOTA, FL – Christian Stoinev, a 22 year-old Sarasota native and hand balancer extraordinaire has just been informed that he will, in fact, be moving on as one of the Top 47 contestants on America’s Got Talent. Stoinev is a 5th generation circus performer, and currently a celebrated performer in The Circus Arts Conservatory’s Summer Circus Spectacular 2014, who has taken the TV show by storm with his feats of super-human balance and strength. According to the results of his latest performance on America’s Got Talent “Judgment Week” – which aired on the NBC network, Wednesday night, July 23rd at 8/7c – he is now a finalist, who gets to perform in the Live Shows at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, and one step closer to winning the $1 million dollar grand prize.
During last night’s episode, Christian once again wowed America with jaw-dropping feats of balance but, this time, he also surprised them with something even more spectacular. On his “Judgment Week” performance, Christian introduced his special four-legged partner, Scooby the Chihuahua, into the incredible balancing act. Together, he and his perfectly-positioned pup commanded the stage to provide a unique and outstanding performance like no other. “I am very excited about the opportunity of moving on to the final live shows of America’s Got Talent but I’m taking things one step at a time. Right now I am just very happy to be performing with Scooby in my hometown of Sarasota,” Stoinev says.
You can see him perform live, right here in Sarasota, at the Summer Circus Spectacular 2014 – a show produced by The Circus Arts Conservatory and presented in partnership with The Ringling – until August 2nd, 2014. During these performances you can expect to see even more incredibly astonishing displays of physical-strength and stamina. Each one of the exciting shows will include a special act performed by this hand-balancing expert and, for an added bonus, he will also be accompanied by his talented, four-legged friend. This is truly a performance you won’t want to miss.
“We are proud to showcase Christian’s talent and have him as a featured performer in our Summer Circus Spectacular 2014,” said Pedro Reis, Founder and CEO of The Circus Arts Conservatory. “The show provides an exceptional opportunity to experience his amazing talent, live on stage, and everyone should come to see him.”
