USF Sarasota-Manatee campus will break ground Wednesday afternoon on first-ever student housing |
SARASOTA, Fla. (March 1, 2023) – The University of South Florida on Wednesday will host a ceremonial groundbreaking for the Sarasota-Manatee campus’s first-ever student center and residential housing complex.
The groundbreaking will take place at 2 p.m. in the campus courtyard on the Sarasota-Manatee campus, 8350 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota. Members of the media should follow signs for reserved parking. When the six-story, 100,000-square-foot building is completed in time for the fall 2024 semester, as many as 200 students will be able to live on the Sarasota-Manatee campus for the first time.
