What: Free docent-led Van Wezel and Fine Arts Society of Sarasota Art Collection Tour
Where: Van Wezel main lobby, 777 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota – meet near the box office entrance
When: First Tuesday of each month, 10 a.m., through May 2019. Tour dates are January 8, February 5, March 5, April 2, and May 7.
Why: Learn about the history of art and artists in Sarasota, and view significant art of Florida artists from the 20th and 21st centuries, maintained in the unique surroundings of the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall.
Cost: Free and open to the public. First Tuesday public art tours are FREE through May 2019 in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Fine Arts Society of Sarasota. No reservations required.
