Los Angeles, CA (October 23, 2018)AXS TV gives thanks for great music this November, with a cornucopia of classic concerts, documentaries, tributes and more, airing every weekend as part of the network’s ‘Saturday Stack’ programming. Bruce Springsteen kicks things off on November 3, blazing through a career-spanning set that includes “Darkness On The Edge Of Town,” “Badlands,” “Dancing In The Dark,” and “Born To Run” in Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band Live In Barcelona at 12pE & 5:30pE. Then, The Boss’ biggest fans discuss the influence of his music on their lives in Springsteen & I at 3pE & 8:30pE; and E Street Band guitarist Steven Van Zandt recalls the proudest moments of his career on The Big Interview at 4:30pE.

 

Spend the day with a crop of cowboy crooners on November 10, starting at 1pE as Country stars Kenny Chesney, Wynona Judd, Randy Travis and more come together to celebrate George Jones in George Jones: 50 Years Of Hits. Next, Keith Urban discusses his road to fame on The Big Interview at 3pE; Dierks Bentley has a homecoming for the ages in Dierks Bentley Live From The Ryman Auditorium at 4pE; and Toby Keith shares his secret to success on The Big Interview at 5pE. Then, Tim McGraw delivers a hit-packed set at 6pE; followed by an evening with George Jones at 7pE. The night ends with Alan Jackson in the intimate profile Small Town Southern Man at 9pE, and rolling into Colorado in the special 25TH Anniversary event Alan Jackson: Keepin’ It Country – Live At Red Rocks at 10:45pE.

 

Saturday Stack honors folk heroes Joan Baez & Bob Dylan on November 17, opening with a star-studded salute to Dylan featuring performances by Neil Young, Stevie Wonder, George Harrison, Johnny Cash, Tom Petty, and more in Bob Dylan: The 30TH Anniversary Concert Celebration at 9aE & 3pE; and Dylan collaborators The Band reflect on their sophomore masterpiece in Classic Albums: The Band at 12pE & 6pE. Next, Joan Baez discusses her romance with Dylan and her decision to stop touring on The Big Interview at 1pE; before taking the stage to perform “Diamonds & Rust,” “Lily Of The West” and more at 2pE & 7pE. Then, experience the peace and love movement in Summer Of Love 1967 at 8pE; followed by Martin Scorsese’s chronicle of Dylan’s early years in No Direction Home: Bob Dylan at 9pE.

Next, at 12pE, head into the studio for a look at one of Jimi Hendrix’s most ambitious works in Classic Albums – Jimi Hendrix: Electric Ladyland; then, explore the incredible lives, tragic ends, and enduring impacts of music’s most important artists in The Day The Rock Star Died, featuring Jimi Hendrix at 1pE, Janis Joplin at 1:30pE, Whitney Houston at 2pE, and Jim Morrison at 2:30pE; and surviving members of The Doors discuss the band’s seminal self-titled debut in Classic Albums – The Doors at 3pE.
