 Larry King to moderate on August 1 at the Paley Center in Beverly Hills

 

WHAT: The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills presents, A Special Evening with Dionne Warwick: Then Came You as part of its PaleyLive Summer 2018 season on August 1, 2018 at 7 p.m.

 

The evening features a premiere screening of the new PBS Special of multi Grammy-winning artist, Dionne Warwick, whose career has spanned over five decades. The preview showcases her career in song, with tributes from friends and admirers, such as Gladys Knight, Barry Manilow, Smokey Robinson, and her main songwriter Burt Bacharach. In advance of the national premiere, the Paley Center welcomes Dionne for an in-person conversation around her successful career selling over 100 million records. Clips from the Paley Archive will illuminate the conversation celebrating Warwick, who is known for songs such as “I Say a Little Prayer,” “Walk On By,” and “That’s What Friends Are For.”

 

PaleyLive programs offer television fans the rare opportunity to engage with the cast and creative teams of their favorite programs in intimate settings held at The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills.
