Expands Nurse Recruitment to Puerto Rico
Ft. Myers, FL – March 26th, 2018. . . Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS), the largest privately held independent Medical Oncology/Hematology practice in the United States, is expanding its recruitment efforts for nurses to include Puerto Rico. The statewide practice is looking for both long term and seasonal/PRN staff at many locations in Florida, and is offering a sign-on bonus to help offset relocation costs. All candidates must be fluent in English.
FCS CEO Bradley Prechtl, MBA, said, “Due to the shortage of nursing staff in Florida, we are hoping to recruit the best candidates not only from across the state, but we are also placing job ads in Puerto Rico. Florida Cancer Specialists offers the chance for nurses from Puerto Rico to relocate to Florida and build their career. ”
Dr. William Harwin, Founder and President of FCS, added, “Recruiting the best staff for our patients is always top of mind. Florida Cancer Specialists wants to ensure that we hire the best nursing staff with the ability to assess patient needs and conditions that are essential. ”
FCS Director of Nursing, Diane Cope, stated, “FCS is looking to recruit RNs or OCN Certified RNs for the nursing staff positions. While Oncology Certification in Nursing (OCN) is not required for all positions, it is certainly helpful if nurses have previous experience with cancer patients.”
