Texas DOT to Receive 16 New Daktronics Signs
BROOKINGS, S.D. – Sept. 25, 2017 – Texas Department of Transportation (DOT) will soon see a few more signs dotting the landscape, 16 in total, manufactured by Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota. Nine Vanguard® VF-2020 walk-in displays will help motorists safely navigate busy Texas roadways, alerting travelers to weather conditions, public safety announcements and more. Seven Vanguard VF-2420 displays will also assist with Amber AlertsTM, roadway incidents and construction information.
The sixteen dynamic message signs are set to ship between November and December this year.
