Amazing up-close views of the gentle sea cows can be enjoyed from the center’s observation desk. Manatee season is from November 15 through March 31 as they congregate in the warm waters by Manatee Lagoon – An FPL Eco-Discovery Center. The 16,000-square-foot educational attraction, with a dedicated area for viewing manatees, features engaging hands-on exhibits for visitors to learn all about these endangered and unique creatures of the sea.

Sleepy Sloth or Flamingo Experience at the Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society 
Meet Wilbur, the zoo’s Hoffman’s two-toed sloth, or become part of the flock in a fun and interactive experience with Chilean flamingos. Mounts Botanical Garden of Palm Beach County’s Washed Ashore: Art to Save the Sea Exhibit: December 2, 2017 – May 31, 2018

Enjoy the awe of 10 giant sea sculptures made entirely of ocean debris as the larger-than-life creatures make their way onto the 14 acres of this West Palm Beach botanical garden, which is conveniently located adjacent to the Palm Beach International Airport. Marlin, parrot fish, puffin, and seal sculptures will highlight the various types of trash found in the ocean. Jupiter Craft Brewers Festival: January 26 through January 27, 2018
During Jupiter’s Craft Brewers Festival, visitors can enjoy a series of brew-focused events over a two-day span. Events include Field of Beers, Craftoberfest and the Jupiter Craft Brewers Festival. During Field of Beers, a ticketed event that takes place on January 26 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., hyper-local craft breweries and local chefs team up for 15+ classic beer and food pairings at Roger Dean Stadium, located in Jupiter. Fifteen teams of brewers and chefs present innovative, original creations, specifically designed to complement one another. Unlimited food and drink samples are available with ticket purchase. On January 27, two events take place simultaneously, one of which is the 12th Annual Jupiter Craft Brewers Festival from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Roger Dean Stadium. Admission includes craft beer sampling, and food will be available for purchase. Here, attendees will be able to sample a variety of craft beers and live music. From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Craftoberfest, which takes place across the street from the stadium at the Abacoa Theatre Green, visitors can enjoy the unique tastes of craft beer and traditional German-style food at cost. During this popular event, which has been called the most culturally authentic in America, live German music by the authentic oompah band, Sonnenschein Express, plays in the background. Delray Beach Open: February 16-25, 2018

The 26th annual Delray Beach Open is expected to attract more than 50,000 fans to ‘America’s Most Fun Small Town’ during a 10-day span. The event includes a three-day, six-player ATP Champions Tour event over President’s Day weekend. That event is followed by the ATP World Tour event, featuring current top tennis stars Milos Raonic, Juan Martin del Potro and Jack Sock. Local, original music, artists and area food favorites, Ladies Day Luncheons and Kidz Day activities, as well as parties and VIP happenings, will take place as well.
