Benziger Family Winery Wine Maker Dinner hosted by Chiles Restaurant Group
Exclusive dinner features five courses paired with artisanal wines from Benziger vineyards
ANNA MARIA, Fla. (May 2017) – Chiles Group Restaurants (Sandbar, Beach House and the Mar Vista Dockside) will converge along with Benziger Family Winery at The Studio at Gulf and Pine on Anna Maria Island Thursday, June 22 for an exclusive wine maker dinner featuring Benziger wines.
The event will include five courses, featuring unique menu items created by culinary director Erik Walker and the team of chefs from all three Chiles Group restaurants – Will Manson from the Beach House, Rich DeMarse from the Mar Vista Dockside and Patrick McKanna from the Sandbar – using locally sourced items from the gulf and nearby farms such as Gamble Creek Farm, the Chiles Group’s own farm.
Each course has been expertly paired with a wine from Benziger Family Winery, located in Sonoma, California, and known for crafting distinctive and expressive certified-Biodynamic, organically grown and sustainable wines that resemble flavors of distinct personality and true varietal expression. Chris Benziger, a 3rd generation winemaker will be making a special trip to the Bradenton area for this dinner to showcase his Demeter-certified Biodynamic wines.

Benziger, North Coast Sauvignon Blanc 2015: Beautiful citrus and apple flavors introduce our Sauvignon Blanc, followed closely by its delicious minerality.
Florida Octopus & ramp salad, with citrus & fennel, and Foraged Pistou
Benziger, Sonoma County, Chardonnay 2014: Flavors of apple, pear, citrus and ripe apricot engage the palate, while subtle, creamy hints of butter and meringue unfold
Kaffir cured Lionfish with coconut sabayon & chilled Silver Queen chowder
