Renowned character actor and playwright of ‘Dearly Departed’ to offer ‘Impressive Auditions’ seminar at WBTT
SARASOTA, FL – David Dean Bottrell, working actor and playwright of “Dearly Departed” – which is currently being performed by Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe – will be holding a free two-hour seminar, “Impressive Auditions,” at the Westcoast Black Theatre. A working character actor, Bottrell has been featured on “Modern Family,” “Mad Men,” “True Blood,” “The Blacklist,” “Criminal Minds,” “NCIS,” “Rectify,” “Longmire,” “Justified,” “Boston Legal,” and more. Bottrell has taught acting and audition courses for both student and professional actors through the UCLA Professional Acting Program, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (NY & L.A. campuses), Michigan Makes Movies, the SAG Conservatory, and the SAG-AFTRA Continuing Education Program.
