Franklin, TN – May 12, 2017Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival announces that Single Day Passes ($135) are now on sale and unveiled their lineup by day earlier this week for the third annual festival taking place on September 23 and 24, 2017 in Franklin, TN right outside Nashville. Music lovers will #MakeThePilgrimage to The Park at Harlinsdale for two unforgettable days of music, art and culture set against the natural amphitheaters with memorable performances by Justin Timberlake, Eddie Vedder, Ryan Adams, The Avett Brothers, Mavis Staples and more in an intimate setting. The family friendly festival also announced that the Lil’ Pilgrim’s Family Stage will feature performances by Ralph’s World, Red Yarn, Steve Elci & Friends, Tom Mason & The Blue Buccaneers, Michael Dardant, Taft Brown (Saturday only), Little Miss Ann (Sunday only) and more. The Lil’ Pilgrim’s area will not only feature performances by these top children musical acts but will also have interactive activities that will include: a puppet building workshop and decorations for the Mini-Mardi Gras Parade, face-painting activity books the kids can have stamped as they complete various activities, the ever-popular Pirate Ship Play Area and more. The Frist Center for The Visual Arts in Nashville has also come on board as a partner to do a special activity in the children’s area. Kids will get to create sound bracelets that are inspired by the soundsuits of visual artist Nick Cave, who’s exhibition will be on display at the Frist Center this fall. Materials include bells, pony beads, and glow-in-the-dark elements. The wearable artworks will produce sound and glow when children dance in the final hours of the festival after sunset.  And Remember: Kids 10 and under get in FREE when accompanied by an adult GA Ticket.

The festival continues to drive tourism dollars to Williamson County and the Pilgrimage Foundation, the festival’s non-profit arm, and will donate a portion of each ticket sale to benefit the City of Franklin and Friends of Franklin Parks. In addition, a portion of ticket sales will also benefit MusiCares, a nonprofit organization that was established by The Recording Academy® to provide a wide range of emergency financial assistance and addiction recovery resources to members of the music community.

About The Pilgrimage Foundation
The Pilgrimage Foundation was established to develop, in conjunction with the Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival, a non-profit program whereby organizations that support the arts, artists, historic preservation and education may benefit from the growth of the festival.  Each year several organizations will be chosen to participate and benefit from the festival in ways that include publicity, events, and donations.
