PYX 106’s 2016 Toys for Tots Bike Run Collected over 500 hundred toys and raised funds FOR

Albany, N.Y. – November 3, 2016 – PYX 106, Albany’s Classic Rock Station, hosted the 2016 Toys for Tots Bike Run on October 23rd. The event collect over 500 hundred toys and raised over $7,600 for Capital Region Toys for Tots, an organization that collects Christmas toys and gifts for the less fortunate children in the community. PYX 106 will continue to partner with the Capital Region Toys for Tots to help raise monetary and toy donations throughout the 2016 campaign season.
The bike run kicked off at Brunswick Harley Davidson and featured a parade of over 400 motorcyclists that traveled through Troy, Waterford, Clifton Park, Niskayuna, Schenectady and Glenville. PYX 106 on-air personality John Cooper participated alongside more than 600 community members who each brought either a new unwrapped toy or a $10 cash donation. Brunswick Harley Owners Group was the official sponsor of the event.
