Gov’t Mule have premiered a new animated video for their cover of ZZ Top’s “Just Got Paid,” today via Diffuser.fm. PRESS HERE to watch. The track comes off the band’s most recent archival release, The Tel-Star Sessions, which premiered via Ultimate Classic Rock and is comprised of a newly-mixed and mastered collection of never-before-released 1994 demos. This track was one of the very first that Mule recorded together. The video features original, completely hand drawn visuals created by director Tomek Zwlazlak, and stars caricatures of the original trio – Warren Haynes, Allen Woody and Matt Abts.
The Tel-Star Sessions is available now on iTunes, Apple Music and Amazon. Originally intended to be the band’s debut album, these 10 songs are available digitally and as a single CD, as well as 180-gram double-vinyl set including a limited edition version with different artwork and white vinyl.
In addition to their recent album release, the band is currently headlining the Smokin’ Mule 2016 Tour, with very special guests Blackberry Smoke. They will continue on the road alongside ZZ Top for a highly anticipated amphitheater tour from September 9th to 20th. Full tour routing below and for ticket information please visit www.Mule.net.
