Local Public Relations Professionals Win Golden Image Awards
Wordslinger Marketing & PR, the Eclipse Agency, and Visit Sarasota County are honored for their promotional efforts.
Sarasota, FL. (August 23, 2016) Three members of the Central West Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (CWC-FPRA) were presented with Golden Image Awards for excellence in public relations programming at FPRA’s recent annual conference in Palm Harbor. Winners of this prestigious awards competition demonstrate the very best examples of innovation, planning and design.
The winners of the 2016 Golden Image Awards are:
- Judge’s Award: Wordslinger Marketing & PR (Sharon Kunkel) for “Donate Your Ex’s Stuff,” a promotional marketing campaign implemented on behalf of Goodwill Manasota to increase donations around Valentine’s Day.
- Image Award: The Eclipse Agency (Kim Livengood) for the promotional marketing campaign for the Boardwalk Food Company’s rebranding product launch.
- Images Award and Judge’s Award: Visit Sarasota County for its VIP Card Program, a printed tool of public relations used to connect journalists and travel industry professionals with area activities and attractions.
The Golden Image Awards have become a standard of public relations excellence in the State of Florida. Winners demonstrate the very best examples of innovation, planning and design. The awards competition includes four categories: Public Relations Programs, Printed Tools of Public Relations, Audio/Visual Tools of Public Relations, and Student Projects in Public Relations. More than 100 entries were received in the statewide competition.
