RAISES RECORD AMOUNT

Over 600 attend Sunday’s event at the Hilton Anatole Dallas

Arlington, Texas—Sunday’s Texas Rangers Park Place Dealerships Triple Play Game Show Spectacular raised over $725,000.00, an all-time record in the 12-year history of the event.

A sellout crowd of more than 600 attended Triple Play at the Hilton Anatole Dallas for the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation’s largest fundraiser of the year.

The theme for the 2014 event was “Moonlight Masquerade”. The infielders/catchers team of Elvis Andrus, J.P. Arencibia, Adrian Beltre, and Robinson Chirinos defeated the outfielders team of Shin-Soo Choo, Leonys Martin, Mitch Moreland, and Alex Rios in Fielders Feud. In Minute to Win It, the duo of Robbie Ross Jr.-Joakim Soria prevailed over the teams of Neal Cotts-Jason Frasor and Colby Lewis-Shawn Tolleson.

In the live auction, the largest bids were $16,000 each for a pair of trips to the 2014 National Baseball Hall of Fame Induction in Cooperstown, New York in July.

Park Place Dealerships was the title presenter of Triple Play, with other sponsors including FOX Sports Southwest, TXA21, ESPN Dallas 103.3 FM, and ESPN Deportes Dallas 1540 AM.
