Cat Depot Recipient of Edith J. Goode Residuary Trust Scholarship
Sarasota, Fla. – May 15, 2014 – Cat Depot announced Corey Roscoe, Volunteer and Education Director, Cat Depot, will present at The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) Animal Care Expo 2014 in Daytona Beach, Florida, on May 20-23, 2014. Ms. Roscoe will present a volunteer track entitled Calling All Cat People – Ways to Engage Volunteers in Cat Programs.
Cat Depot is the recipient of an education scholarship from the Edith J. Goode Residuary Trust to attend the Animal Care Expo 2014. The award will provide an opportunity for Cat Depot staff to learn about the latest cutting-edge programs in the fields of animal care and rescue.
Animal Care Expo is the largest international education conference in the fields of animal care, control, rescue, and emergency services. The Expo offers opportunity to learn new skills and strategies, and network with animal welfare professionals from around the world.
Cat Depot, a nonprofit, 501(c)3 no-kill, free-roaming facility, is recognized for its progressive design and commitment to helping homeless, abandoned and injured animals.
