Exhibition Dierks Bentley: Every Mile a Memory Comes to Life with Surprise Appearance by Bentley at Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum; Cam Performs Pop-up Show in the Museum’s ACM Gallery Where Her Opry Debut Dress is now on Display

NASHVILLE, Tenn., – June 15, 2016 –The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum welcomed thousands of country music fans to CMA Music Festival. Last week, the museum hosted autograph signings, performances and special programs, presented by Comcast.

On Monday, June 6, the museum kicked off the week with a special interview and performance by Blake Shelton in support of the new exhibition Blake Shelton: Based on a True Story, supported by SunTrust.

Thursday, June 9, the museum hosted two surprise appearances. Prior to an autograph signing at the museum, multi-platinum singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley made a surprise appearance in the exhibition Dierks Bentley: Every Mile a Memory, presented by Citi. California born singer/songwriter Cam surprised fans with an acoustic performance in the museum’s ACM Gallery, where her Opry debut dress is now on display. The entire week was packed with activity that included appearances by Gary Allan, Bill Anderson, Brandy Clark, Dan + Shay, Mickey Guyton, Brenda Lee, Scotty McCreery, Oak Ridge Boys, Charley Pride, RaeLynn, Aubrie Sellers and more.

The museum is located at 222 Fifth Ave. S. in downtown Nashville (SoBro district), and is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.

The Museum Store is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. 2|22 Eatery serves hot lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and to-go options from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Bajo Sexto Taco, located in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, is an authentic Mexican taqueria inspired by the street foods found in Mexico. It is open from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. daily. Guitarist David Andersen performs Monday through Saturday in the museum Conservatory.

Admission is $24.95 for adults, $14.95 for children ages six to 12, and free for children under six.  The museum offers discounted admission to seniors (60 and older), the military and students (with valid IDs).  Group rates are available for tours of 15 or more.
