How’d you like to be in the funny business? If you’re Pam McCurdy, you definitely are. McCurdy’s Comedy Theatre is a very popular club that has been giving Sarasota and Bradenton a good laugh for years. The latest news from the funny folks is that they’re taking their act downtown Sarasota (1923 Ringling Blvd., to be precise) in June.

Pam McCurdy |
I just checked their web site (McCurdyscomedy.com) and all it says is they’re leaving their old location on North Trail and moving downtown TBA…so keep checking.
So for now, get the latest by reading our profile of Pam who, though she doesn’t perform, is a vital part of the family funny biz. She does just about everything except tell jokes even though, she is very funny in person when the topic is…well, humor. No joke here – what a great addition to downtown McCurdy’s Comedy Theatre will be!
We’ve got Pam’s profile here profile (a PDF).
And to all of you moms out there, Happy Mother’s Day!
