Jim Breuer and the Loud & Rowdy Pay Homage
to “Old School” Rockers in New Video
Debut LP Songs From The Garage Available Now
Features Special Guests Brian Johnson of AC/DC
and Rob Caggiano of Volbeat
It’s been a big day for Jim Breuer and the Loud & Rowdy. Following an appearance on Howard Stern, Jim has just premiered a new video for the track “Old School” on VICE’s Noisey. The song comes off of Breuer’s musical debut Songs From The Garage which was released May 27 via Metal Blade Records and appeared at #13 on Billboard’s hard rock music chart. Jim says of the track, “this song is the perfect catchy summertime Hard Rock tune for you and it’s a throwback! It’s ‘OLD SCHOOL’”. Staying true to the theme of the album, the video begins in Breuer’s garage and shows him paying tribute to the rock legends that inspired this musical endeavor in the first place. Jim Breuer and his backing band work their way from practicing in a garage to playing a huge venue. Look out for guest appearances from Ozzy Osbourne, Brian Johnson, and even Kurt Cobain.
Songs From The Garage is unadulterated fun while remaining true to Breuer’s rock sensibilities. The album features the support of special guests such as Brian Johnson (AC/DC) who provides vocals on two tracks and producer/guitarist Rob Caggiano (Anthrax, Volbeat). Breuer set out to make, most importantly, solid heavy rock while maintaining a balance of comedy and he did just that. Filled with eleven musically badass tracks, Songs From The Garage offers lyrics that are not only funny but also relatable, reflecting Breuer’s position in life: “A dad with three kids who loves family life yet is still a metalhead at heart.”
You can download/order the album here and don’t miss the chance to see Jim Breuer live. A full list of his comedy and band tour dates are below.
