DALLAS—May 25, 2016—Parent Compass, the Telly Award-winning Christian life-and-family series, premieres episode two at ParentCompass.tv this Friday–featuring Jonathan and Wynter Pitts and their four daughters. Alena Pitts, the oldest daughter, was the jump-roping child star featured in the hit film WAR ROOM. As episode two shows, Wynter beat the statistics, having grown up in inner-city Baltimore with a drug-addicted absentee father. She and her husband, Jonathan Pitts, now have four daughters. Friday’s episode is the true story of how the Pitts family discovered the power of God. “Jonathan and I hope our experiences in God’s grace and power will help other families in seemingly hopeless situations,” Wynter said, “or parents raising families without a clear road map from their own rearing.” Wynter now is founder and editor of “For Girls Like You,“ a ministry and magazine for girls ages 6 to 11 and their parents. Jonathan is executive director of Tony Evan’s Ministry, The Urban Alternative. “These true stories of real parents show God in the challenges of family life today,” Natalie Jones, founder and president of Parent Compass and a mother of five, said. “Parent Compass’ hopeful message is that whatever has gone before—God can start a new story with you. Beginning last Friday, Parent Compass premieres 12 episodes with 12 true family stories in 12 weeks. Episode one already has drawn viewer raves. “It was wonderful! Truly. This is a snowball of God’s will that is beginning to roll down the hill! Well done!” “Amazing! God will touch many lives. I wish I had heard something like this when I was a young parent. I know this will be well-received.” “. . amazing and something I want to share with my family. Thank you for this. I will pass it onto my hurting family for encouragement and hope!” See the premiere now on ParentCompass.TV. On Friday see the Pitts-family episode. More new episodes, each on a new family, debut on subsequent Fridays.
