May 24, 2016, Winnipeg, Manitoba – Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) has announced a diverse and carefully curated lineup for the 10-year anniversary of its series “Aboriginal Day Live” in WInnipeg on Saturday, June 25. The annual LIVE concert will begin at 8 p.m. EST and be broadcast on APTN and livestreamed at www.aboriginaldaylive.com.
The event and TV series features award-winning and on-the-rise Aboriginal musicians and entertainers from across Canada and beyond.
“Aboriginal Day Live” is Canada’s largest event in recognition of National Aboriginal Day. The festival and TV series provides an opportunity for all Canadians to gain awareness of Aboriginal cultures through celebration, having grown attendance from 5000 to over 35,000 attendees.
Viewers can watch the “Aboriginal Day Live” Concert live on APTN, online at aborignaldaylive.com or listen via the Aboriginal radio waves. The exclusive four-hour Aboriginal Day Live concert will broadcast on June 25 at 8:00 p.m. ET on APTN.
